A cross-border team across nine offices, led from Montréal, has advised CAE Inc. on its US$392.5m acquisition of Sabre's AirCentre airline operations portfolio. The transaction included all products under the AirCentre banner and related technology and intellectual property as well as the transfer of AirCentre employees in various countries. AirCentre is a global network that provides software services to more than 150 airline customers for crew scheduling, and flight, airport and in-flight operations management. CAE is a high-technology company that provides personnel training and operational support in a number of sectors, including civil aviation.
